Kesley Cage

A Wise Fool

I'm a native Midlander, nature lover and inter-spiritual practitioner, living and enjoying the waters and landscapes of Somerset. I delight in sunsets, folk songs, spiced tea and campfires. My therapy and coaching practice is a continuation of the contemplative space I hold in my heart, which I share with people experiencing challenges and transformation. My developing specialisms are trauma healing, spiritual awakening and human sexuality. I have a passion for phenomenological practice-based research and facilitating 'flow' states of consciousness that enhance neurological mind-body integration and thereby create the optimal conditions for healing, vitality, learning and growth.

What I do

Soul Healing

I facilitate individuals to heal painful thoughts, emotions and psychological processes and reconnect with calm, joy and safety.

I'm humanistic, transpersonal and integrative in my theoretical approach and combine research-based modalities in an embodied, depth relational way. Relationship and 'interbeing' are at the heart of what I do. Therapy and coaching, the way I practice, means to build the here-and-now connection between you and me so that we can tend to all aspects of your Self. A little like growing a garden, some areas of your psyche may be boggy, or jungle, others may be manicured, sculpted, barren, or abundant; with patience, you can work on the parts of yourself that you feel need the most attention, that perhaps are impacting on your happiness, relationships and well-being - such as perhaps navigating the nettle patch of loss and anger, and deciding which practical tools and wily methods to use to grow the best tomatoes. This kind of work helps people to complete cycles of healing and respond to opportunities for creative growth in their inner landscape and how that touches and relates with family/work/life constellations.

Some of the resources I draw on in my practice include trauma-sensitive mindfulness, existential philosophy, sexology, gestalt, process-oriented psychology, neuroscience and the support of my peers in numerous professional associations.

All sessions are held in strict confidence.

Who I work with

Many of my clients are gender, sex and relationship diverse.

Being anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive are core to how I work; I ensure my work is accessible to people in all parts of the local community and online.

I am grateful to help many clients, including all kinds of people who feel that they resonate with the kind of soul work I facilitate to process personal healing, relationship growth and fulfilment of personal, practical and spiritual goals.

I work primarily in private practice, and I also provide online therapy as part of an international team working with LGBTQ+ sexual minorities in Kenya, and also face-to-face and walk-and-talk sessions with members of the local community in need of spiritual counselling at Sweet Track Counselling CIC in Glastonbury, UK.

All my client work is confidential, my work is clinically supervised, and I am able to refer when necessary.

Transpersonal Coaches and Therapy Network

I'm a member of the Transpersonal Coaches and Therapists Network (TCTN), a practice-based research hub of the International Association of Coaches, Therapists and Mentors (IACTM), contributing to the ongoing development of the field of transpersonal consciousness studies.
